Nowadays, lawyers and law firms are increasingly confronted with an ever-increasing digitisation of the business world. The digital transformation is changing the way in which legal advice is given. Lawyers face the major challenges of organising a complete digital transition in a very short timeframe. Lawyers are looking for tools to manage and efficiently use the ever-increasing mass of digital information.

Offices that want to prepare thoroughly for the shift in the market are best advised to start investing in technology in order to be able to keep up with developments in the future. In this context, it is sometimes said that the major international law firms headquartered in the UK or the US are in pole position to lead this evolution. A frequently used argument in this connection is that these firms operate on a much larger scale and therefore have more financial resources to make the necessary investments in technology and innovation.

In this webinar, lawyers from the Dutch Bar Association of Brussels who work within an international law firm will explain how the firms in question implement technology and innovation in their practice. This offers a unique opportunity to take a look at the internal workings of the firms and possibly get some inspiration on how you can apply innovation and technology within your own practice.
